Damn Plumber !

Ah the good old plumber......He is often fixing a tap in cork at 2pm and yet can be in Letterkenny at 2.30. Oldest story in the book

Arranged an appointment today , had given an hour and fifteen mins notice, was told no problem at all. Drove for an hour to the location and texted to say had just parked the car only to get a text back to say the plumber had just arrived to fix a tap so she was unable to meet .

Would have thought plumbers today would have given an indication about what time they would arrive at 🤔

They don’t .

Just recently I had a problem with my apartment , was onto management for two weeks ,

had to throw a tantrum , next day repairman showed up unannounced !

Lucky my guest and I were sitting in the living room having a preliminary chat !

If repair dude had shown up just a bit later , we would’ve been in throes of passion !

: Talk about unprofessional behavior from management and repairman ;

If my guest wouldn’t have arrived yet but had been on his way , I would’ve had to Cancel !

Talk about awkward for me ! :: and how very much more awkward it Could’ve been !!



You guys are awful : automatically assuming you’ve been hoodwinked .

Says a lot more about You , than about any provider . Grrr .



In previous apartment happened that the underfloor heating / hot water went :

management sent repairman asap , but couldn’t give time : I had to cancel a

confirmed appointment . Very very frustrating !

I hate to tell you but you and her got shafted by the plumber,

him in a nice way,and he paid her for the call out

Oh , don’t I know the feeling !

And She ( or management co. ) paid for the plumber’s call out .

Stephanie, I do get what you are saying and yes you are absolutely right things can and do occur that are completely out of the hands of the providers and that will always happen . I've been around long before this website and the Internet, when business was conducted through certain magazines and there was a lot more uncertainty, that is why I referred to this in a more lighthearted way.
But it seems to be happening a bit more often recently, being human comes with its frailties which we all have , maybe my zimmer frame has something to do with it 🤔
Better up my pilates routine !
