I think he is fairly astute on the pitch.
    He's a good player.

He needs to be more expansive. You think two goals a season is enough for a box to box midfielder? I don't.

He plays for a team with no major goalscorer...he should be stepping up.

A fair point, but to blame Rice for a lack of goals at West Ham is a tad harsh.

Rice is best at breaking up play and being in the right place defensively, his ability to run with the ball is improving.last season he was played as the more defensive of the two holding midfielders and Soucek got ten goals, this year Moyes has reversed the role to the detriment of goals scored. Rices ability to provide assists is poor and his shooting from distance is weak and he is not box to box arriving on the end of balls. Having said that, he is young so may well improve those parts of his game, the other thing in his favour which I think is often missed is never gets send off or suspended for five yellows and hardly misses a game through injury. Resigned to the face that he will go at the end of the season and best of luck to him

It was inevitable after his rant after the saints game. It was like he wanted to leave. Will they still get top 4 with stellini in charge until the end of the season?

No I don't think so. Liverpool will scrape fourth I think. I'm not even looking at fixtures I just think Liverpool will scrape it. I know they have games in hand.

Liverpools next 3 games are against man city, chelsea and arsenal. 3 tough looking games. Its hard to say about spurs, it should be close for 4th.

Stone wall 9 points for Liverpool in those 3 fixtures, more realistically 0 points and a GD of -9

Not a chance we finish in the top 4 hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.
