In 2001/02, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers all survived. In 2011/12, QPR, Norwich City and Swansea City all stayed up and the most recent success was in 2017/18, when Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Huddersfield Town all did the business in the top flight.

It is quite uncommon, generally one of the promoted teams never gets going. I thought Forest would go straight back down,

Well in fairness it was looking very likely for a good while Barney but fair play to cooper he got them there. Must say I was happy to see them stay especially with the favour they did West Ham stopping Moyes making a horror signing with Lingard

Shin guard/ Lingard! We stayed up and that's what mattered.

Glad that Cooper got the chance to see out the season when other managers were dropping like flies.

Hopefully he'll have a team next year that really can compete at the top level. Time will tell.

I didn’t say I wanted them to go down, but they were on cliff edge, I would never have expected Leicester to go down instead.

Only messin with ye Ryan. Yeah it was looking ominous for a few weeks there.

Maybe next season they might get possession above 30% or even as high as 40%. Even the games they won this year they were lucky to have over 30% possession even at the City Ground.

I thought Bournemouth were really impressive. They were hugely tipped for the drop. Particularly early doors when they got walloped 9-0 by Liverpool, don't think anyone saw them having as good a season as they did!

Martin Tyler is to step down as sky sports commentator this summer. It said he's 33 years with them. His most famous commentary must be the aguero goal against qpr.
