Its 6 pl wins in a row for the gunners and they go 8pts clear of city. City have a game in hand. Thats a big result for arsenal after their european exit. At least it keeps the pressure on city.

Great response by Arsenal, after a disappointing night on Thursday,
They are 8 points clear , and their focus is purely on PL now.

At the other end of the table it now looks that any three from the bottom nine can drop depending on who does and does not hit a bit of form

Hope it doesn't end in disaster for roy. He didn't do a great job when he went to watford last season. But maybe palace are better team than watford and at least the fixtures are against teams around them.

The takeover at Manchester United has stalled and an extension has been given for bids.

It would be an absolute disaster if the Glazers don't sell and they are loving this. Hopefully it gets done.

Bad and all as they are - I think Qatar would be worse. Aside from the human rights issues etc, I think it would really tarnish anything won from now on. Our history wouldn't matter as everyone would say 'you only won with Qatari money'. To me its not as big a deal for the new rich clubs - City, Newcastle, Chelsea, PSG who were nowhere before the cash injections - but United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real, Barca, Munich etc have a history that shouldn't simply be sold to the highest bidder.

The glazers are leeches who have drained the club, but surely United of all clubs should be able to stand on its own two feet. It just doesn't sit right with me.

I'm very uncomfortable about the Middle Eastern crew...bad for football.

Glazers do have to go no matter what.

    Your move Jim...
