you think Daisy they're trying to claw back some of the money they lost during covid, the feckers

I think the days of eating out and lavish dos at hotels and drinking til all hours could be over, prices crazy over there.
when I was in Dublin pints were about a fiver but was in southend on sea last week and same pints 2 quid, they seem to taste alot better too

yep - gone mad - I'd normally stay overnight near the airport when I've a morning meeting in that area, last week €350 room only was the best I could get - most had no availability. It was 109 inc breakfast up to March. Couldn't justify it and ended up leaving at home at 4am and not getting back til near midnight. Was ruined for a few days after.

We say its not sustainable and can't keep going, but they are all full again this week, so someones paying. Petrol gone up, material costs rising, people looking for wage increases, but I can't charge anymore than I am as the money isn't there......what to do?

If that is the case then the increase cost of Hotel accommodation will have to be followed by an increase in escort rates, I'd say by December the minium for 1hr will be 300euros

A sick, corrupt country. We are basically paying more here than the rest of Europe. I have a wedding to go to later this year. €260 for one night in the hotel. Insurance causing big problems also. Concerts in Ireland are among the most expensive in Europe. Tickets available for a load of summer gigs...they can't sell out.

You have to allow a min of 1k for a wedding, hotel, envelope, new shirt n tie to go with the old suit, , drink, and the day after.
Then if herself wants a new gùna, hair, make up, nails etc.....

Its like a summons in the post

But fuck it, ya can't beat a good session

Funerals are a better session . She does her own hair and make up and I haven't bought a new shirt in about 10 years. Sure I've about 30 shirts that I hardly wear.

Rocker, rip off yes especially weddings, instead of saying youre booking a wedding just say its a business and social function and thats what we do over here, you see once they hear its a wedding they double and even treble the price on everything as they seem to believe you can't put a price on the happiest day of your life....yeah right

It's not the happiest day of my life...it's some other poor sap . It's not even the hotel the wedding is in as that's booked out...it's a sister hotel down the road. I ain't paying it...fuck them. Hotels all over Ireland are an incredible price now. Car rentals shocking also... higher now that Athens, Barcelona, Lisbon etc. Fucking scum bags the lot of that shower.

Iam afraid you are not right.

Its surprising escorts were working in past for higher rates than now. And now a lot of them have not even minimum rates… i would be probably bad in many eyes but here is something really wrong in their mindset…

Reckless spending and policies abroad caused massive spike in energy costs. The energy costs then cause food and production inputs to soar.

The hotel price rises are due to inflation and a massive decrease in supply of hotel rooms. Thousands of Ukrainian referees are being housed in hotels every where. Only today i heard govt thinking of renting out all the citywest hotel for next two years.

Most guys have cut down their use of escorts and other services, hence prices gone up to compensate. We are only at the start of this inflation cycle, rising costs are here to stay for a while. The inflation for suppliers and production of goods is running higher then retail inflation.

The coming winter will also increase demand for energy, buckle up.
