Now they have allowed me 11am check ins many times as they have hundreds of rooms , supply and demand , someone is paying it .

I could have seen a few regs but at that rate it's not worth it.

hotels are ridiculous in Dublin at the moment , you use to get a half decent room for 80e

I immigrated to Ireland 3.5 years ago and since the day I started living here I had felt the pinch of the high living costs especially the rent in any decent area which eats up almost half of what I earn but the current situation is horrible. I have still not managed to get a mortgage for buying a house and the rents are going up and up . Everything is so damn costly that it's difficult even to survive now in Dublin. People who have their own houses are blessed atleast they don't have to deal with landlords trying to take advantage of the situation.

London is Cheaper now and the overall standard and service better too so it is a bit of a rip off on people when they are struggling.

It's tough out there for anyone working or paying bills. I'm lucky enough to live bill free but I've mates who pay rent /mortgage and feed the family and im sure it's hard.
It seems being a hermit in my mums house rent free, on the dole getting handouts from the old lady was actually a good life choice! Lol

Was reading on some online column yesterday that a landlord, in Sligo I think, raised both of his property rents by 600e per month. Rent before for both was like 800e, so nearly double the rent. How are people supposed to afford the essentials after that??

Its got difficult Monique and I notice over here alot more girls doing working on the street which is legal over here and more and more girls are offering outcalls but this only works good if you live in a big city.
Hotels are not really busy but still charging high and landlords rents are through the roof with no sign of coming down.

Ireland is an expensive place to live but still I am very well here.

I just back from Budapest and to visit a restaurant is 30-40% plus than 2 years ago,
the food’s price in the market is higher and higher on every single week.

I think the problem is global now and we are “ok” here.
