    Default 'Your' vs. 'You're'

My only thing is how annoying it is to see people using 'your' when they mean to use/say 'you're'. People seem to forget that the contraction for saying 'you are' is 'you're', NOT 'YOUR'!

Examples of proper use for each:

    1.-- How was your day?

    2.-- You're an A#&hole!!

Clean out those dirty mouths gentleman!! And don't forget that there IS a spell-check tab that you can click in the top right-hand corner of the box when 'you're' writing a post!

I also find it very annoying when people use single quotation marks when they should be using double. If you are highlighting a word or drawing attention to it the correct format is double.

Spell checks are half the problem as it makes people lazy. Anyone that was though spellings and are now in their 30's were not given the proper technique. Spelling needs to be thought using phonetics, most were thought using memory as their technique. So to sum it all up, spell checks are not the way forward.

    Where were we're wear

    your you're

    There their they're

    Three tree

    two to too

    of off

Also when putting the apostrophe (spelling?) in the wrong place. But I don't get that bothered about it.

    Default Apologies!

"You're" technically correct Anon, my apologies for the grammatical error! Let's support proper useage of the English language, including correct spelling and punctuation!
