    Default Peoples experiences with Covid

Anyone else round here who got Covid how’d ye fare?

I’m 24, go to the gym 4-5 times a week so in decent shape, have a good eye for nutrition, got vaccinated and don’t smoke. But fuck me this is the most sick I’ve ever been, literally stuck to the bed coughing my lungs up, not fun.

There's no hard set sickness or symptoms, some get sick, some don't even know they have it.
I got it, man flue for 2 days, drop of Poitin then bing, back to my normal irresistible self.

Gf got it, spent a week in the bed.
No two way's about it, I am the best looking punter in Ireland.

I'm older than you and have a long history doing sports and exercise. I haven't done much in 10 years, not vaccinated and covid was a doddle. Nonsense I'd say you just have less good genes than some.

I never had as much as a sniffle and that surprises me considering I lost no time from work and I was always out and about. I travelled a little bit when I could, but I suppose it just goes that way sometimes...maybe I got it mild and never noticed. I too am in good shape and despite being a little heavy on the drink I do try to keep myself fit although I have a fair few years on yourself. You'll be alright you're a fit, young fella, but you'll have to give the ladies a break .

    Feel better.

Everybody is different. When I got it I was floored, three days unable to get out of bed. Slept for Ireland. Went back to work too early, didn't realise how much it took out of me. Take your time recovering.

My elderly parents got it, my father was unwell for 3 weeks but ok, my mother was slightly unwell for 2 days.

I tested positive after tending to them and had to isolate. The most I felt was bored.
    No symptoms of anything.

You could go and sleep in the gym and get something and die. I had what you have a while back. Took about 9 days to go away and was very tired for another few days afterwards. Real bad violent coughing even in my sleep. Drink plenty of water and try to eat a bit even if you don't feel like it.

I know ppl fully vaccinated and boostered and got it in a similar way. Still stand over what I said though. These lockdowns were bullshit.
