However, as has been said many times in many threads, the solution to the world's problems lies with governments, not individuals. When you denigrate people for being rich, where does the line end? Should someone with ten million, one million, 250k in the bank - who chooses the line?

I have an opinion on people who are wealthy enough to afford such extravagance, but I only begrudge them their money if it is ill gotten. What they spend it on is no more my business that what you spend yours on it.

That you have not sold your old diesel and stopped seeing escorts means you have not done all you can to feed the poor. Fact. You could do more. So could billionaires. But how should that be managed?

Bill Gates has his foundation and believes in philanthropy over governments. For all the good his foundation has done it also comes with a lot of issues - because he sets the priorities, and its finances can be opaque.

So, again, if you want rich people to do their part, the best way is to make sure they pay an appropriate amount of tax and then manage those funds appropriately. That is not an easy task in itself.

And once that is done, figure out how to feed all those people - bypass the war zones, the corrupt governments, the mental health issues and all the other things that are not simply money.
I have plenty of money Gonzo. I worked for every cent. I'm not bitter because I have set myself up and I came from absolutely nothing son...and there's nothing coming my way either. You boys always will disagree. I don't think it's right to spend that money...but hey I'm just an idiot who'd give it all away.

58m for a wee space trip, sure its only money and you can't take it with you

Elon now worth over 300 billion and things moving fast, I see myself in one of his bog standard space crafts in the near future when its more affordable
