Poland is more Catholic than Ireland.
    Spain is the same.

Me questioning your unsupported assertions is not the same thing as me supporting the ... 'Church of Ireland'?
I've no idea why I mentioned Portugal either

You're obviously taking the piss about not knowing or acknowledging the crimes committed by the Catholic Church in Ireland if you're Irish

I don't think it is a Taboo anymore. Not since the year 2000 anyway

Oh, we're talking about the crimes committed by the Catholic Church now.

    Interesting.

This is the last time I'm going to address you, a reincarnated banned user.

The Catholic Church are indeed guilty of commiting crimes in this country. Mother and baby homes, workhouses , covering up abuse perpetrated by priests , the list goes on....

Besides all of the above they indoctrinated believers in many ways. One of them is relevant to this thread , they are responsible for so many older people thinking that sex is taboo/ dirty , only for procreation etc.

They're such a shower of hypocritical bigots, a despicable organisation. Defend them if you wish, it says alot about you.

I agree with UnFulfilledScott. He didn't "defend" the catholic church - he merely asked how can you blame the CC for the immature attitude to sex in this country if other equally-Catholic countries don't have the same attitude? It's a lazy and specious conclusion that a lot of people in this country come to but personally I think it's bullshit.

You then tried to deflect by referring to crimes committed by the CC and then threw up a strawman by accusing UnFulfilledScott of "defending" those crimes (which he didn't).

I'm well aware of the crimes of the Catholic Church.
You still haven't addressed the subject matter of the argument but that's not at all surprising.

I think Cecil George Edwards said it best when he said, “And you sir, are you ready to receive my limp penis”.
