The lad can threaten nuclear weapons all he wants. He can't launch them without following Russia nuclear doctrine. Contrary to what you believe Putin can't just push a button and launch nuclear weapons when ever he likes. If you think he threatened nukes because he wants to use them you'd be wrong. He threatened nukes because he knew that was the only way to guarantee NATO NATO would not enter Ukraine and wiping out his army which was/is failing in Ukraine. Seeing he's army fail in Ukraine has shown Putin that Russia is no longer a military superpower and nukes are the only thing he has keeping the west out of his country
