    Default Contactless cards

Out for a punt in dublin and forgot my wallet. It's too far to go back for it and I didn't want to miss this chance. Anyone in dublin take contactless payments so I can use my phone?

Could you purchase something in a shop and get cashback?
It's not something I ever do so not sure if it would work but maybe worth a try.

Can you get sterling in the post office? That probably could work

Yeah I tried asking a few places but loads of places wouldn't do Cashback in the first place. Just a shame as I'm not often left to myself in dublin but looks like I'll have to leave it for another time

Ring the lady of your choice, tell her you have no cash and suggest you buy her something to the value of €150, her choice, and bring it along to the appointment. If she's a smoker she might accept 10 packs in lieu of payment. There are endless possibilities .
