I think this highlights that deleting threads and posts is not the correct way to moderate the forum. I have no idea what caleb posted and i never will as the record of that is now gone and it is understandable that nbt comes along and takes the view that someone may have been banned unfairly as the that is all that is left.

I accept that caleb was here to stir shit and that luther was justified in banning him , however i think that calebs posts should have been left with editing out the names of people if required and then locked so that at least people could see what happened. The way it looks now is a new member and a trigger happy mod and that apparently is not an accurate reflection of what happened.

The problem is that these trolls are perfectly happy to only survive a few days and their posts survive and they start up another one and continue. It is time that their posts are also deleted to counteract this as just banning them and leaving their little steamy pile of shit here after they are banned is just what they are happy with.

Yes but if you nueter the post so references to people are removed lock the thread and say move it to soap opera or a special area then the record of why someone was banned will at least still exist without the venom that was directed at escort or punter.
The current practise of deleting causes obvious confusion as can be seen here where it looks like luther just went on a power trip as thats all that remains
