As most of us know, mandatory mask wearing ended today!

    What are your views/opinions?

I'm not wearing a mask anymore where I don't have to. It's still mandatory in a lot of Europe. In Italy you have to wear the upgraded mask in a lot of settings (not the cloth mask).

2 years since the first case in Ireland. Remember it well, guy on the enterprise train from Connelly to Belfast...... looking at the news at the time and thinking.... " sure they'll just have to burn that train now"

2 years later and I worry more about where all my odd socks come from.

Ill just say this that masks are a blessing when it comes to "this." Ye, I would still wear them to cover my face without looking out of place when "doing it" but otherwise no.

What I find hilarious is lads wearing masks in the shops when they don't have to and then visiting the ladies and presumably not wearing a mask (I hope). Sounds strange and I guess it defeats the purpose of wearing a mask in the first place. Obviously the ladies have plenty of customers so if it was so contagious it would be rife in this industry and it's not. Anyway the media has moved on from the pandemic to the war. It might be a thing of the past soon. Everyone to their own though.
