Generally I am still wearing a mask in shops. It hasn't went away.

I'm not leaving my house this week, I have covid. I will continue to wear a mask for the time being in shops , I don't use public transport but if I did I'd certainly wear a mask.
We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....

Obviously the ladies have plenty of customers so if it was so contagious it would be rife in this industry and it's not. Anyway the media has moved on from the pandemic to the war. It might be a thing of the past soon. Everyone to their own though.
Wearing a mask is about protecting others, not about protecting yourself. So in the case of visiting an escort unmasked, then going to a shop and wearing a mask, it is about minimising the risk to the shop staff who have to see hundreds of people every day.

It doesn't take much effort to be considerate of the risk to people who are forced to interact with hundreds of people every day.

Yes I know Gonzo. I adhered to the guidelines. Now they have mostly lifted so I don't have to wear a mask in most settings. A lot of staff I've came across today and yesterday are no longer wearing masks and then some are. I am going by the guidelines. I will be travelling soon and for where I'm going I need an upgraded mask so I will get one.

    I'm not wearing a mask.

I never supported the wearing of masks.

I don't believe they protect anyone.
I dont' believe there is anything to protect anyone from.
I believe this nonsense got completely out of hand and exaggerated out of all proportion.

And I am that shopkeeper Gonzo referred to, and I never wore one.

Tony, you're still pro-covid after all this time I see. You don't have to justify being selfish Tony, I know you are and you are more important than anyone else, your freedom is more important than the vulnerable. Well done Tony, keep up the good fight.

This right here is the type of person who doesn't wash their hands after they have been to the toilet. Thanks Tony for pro-longing the pandemic.

Spot the difference between a useful post and a useless post. Both seek a similar outcome: wear a mask.

Useful: Offers an explanation, real world scenario, central message: reduce harm, minimise risk.

Useless: Condescending, personal, central message: you're selfish, you should be ashamed.
