    Djokovic lost the first set.

Wimbledon have banned players from Russia and Belarus at this year's tournament. Well this is disgraceful and pure discrimination! You can't help where you are from and how the political situation may sway in that country. It's all about the agenda and what is popular at any given time. Absolute nonsense in my opinion. Medvedev can't play Wimbledon because he was born in Russia? I'd understand banning Putin from entering your country, but this is crazy and incredibly hypocritical when you think of the bloodshed Britain and America have caused in other countries!

Russian and Belarusian players banned from Wimbledon due to invasion of Ukraine https://the42.ie/5742749

Yes it's a great shame but Wimbledon is an historic event and probably correct decision

Djokovic wins the 2nd set, it should be comfortable for him in the 3rd.

Djere was so close to causing the upset!

It makes me uncomfortable. Sport should be free from politics...it is an escape and everyone is welcome. Male, female, able bodied or disabled. I think they may have been worried about hostile crowds and bringing controversy to the ever so posh All England Club...oh we can't have that. I wonder will the Queen give Andrew her free ticket as I know she's not a tennis fan? Maybe he will get a good reception. Anyway you are probably right.

Well if Djokovic can't win this tournament in Belgrade, I don't see how he'll win in Paris.

He is way off but he won 7/6 in third set. He will need to improve a lot to compete at Roland Garros.

It is sickening for the players, if i was a player i'd be fuming.

But in terms of world peace for it is the correct decision. A world war (WW3) would stop Wimbledon going ahead if you think about it!!
