Brilliant win for Nadal. He's still such a beast. So it's Nadal vs. Zverev in the semi finals. It's hard to see Nadal being stopped now. Casper Ruud is a dangerous player on the other side of the draw, but I think Nadal's intensity is too much for them.

So it's now 30-29 in Djokovic's favour in the head to head and he leads Nadal 15-13 in overall finals... however it is Nadal in front in Grand Slam matches with an 11-7 lead against Djokovic. Nadal leads at the French Open 8-2 and the US Open 2-1 with Djokovic leading at the Australian Open 2-0 and Wimbledon 2-1. Djokovic is the only player to beat Nadal at every Grand Slam. An incredible rivalry.

Very evenly matched between Rublev and Cilic
Goes to 5th set , the possibility of a 5th set tie break, first to 10 by a margin of 2

Time for cilic to get in the ice bath!

    Great win!

Great win for Cilic...he had fallen away. I wasn't expecting him back in a Grand Slam semi final. He was really impressive today.

The only way I can see Nadal not winning Is if he get injured.

22 slams may be too much for novak.

Men's semi final day at Roland Garros -

    Rafael Nadal vs. Alexander Zverev
    Marin Cilic vs. Casper Ruud

Nadal should definitely win on his birthday...maybe Zverev will get a set.
The other match is very interesting. I think Ruud in 5, but Cilic has the experience and is a power hitter...if he is hitting lines he'll be hard to stop. I felt Ruud was a dark horse for possibly making the final this year...he's another one with a big future. I think a Nadal/Alcaraz semi would have been epic.
