I found it striking the story she told about the guy asking "what do you do?
and she replies about her college course, but of course that was not what he was asking!
I dont know, personally I like to have some connection on a human level, I genuinely am interested in their real lives,
in saying that the majority of the girls want to keep their private lives separate.
Id like to think that it is not always a "cold transaction" as implied by this example.
I recall the girl I dated a few years ago, ultimately she confided in a few of her close friends about where she had really met me, and they all told her to end it!!
so it will be a long time before it becomes socially acceptable,
but yes their is more of a human side than is often portrayed in the media.
