    Default Historical moments.........

Tomorrow is the 40th anniversary of the moon landing and I was just wondering does anybody have any particular favourite moments in history or moment that changed the world, be they good or bad........
    Just things they find interesting..................

You might be right......... look at the amount of money that spent developing a pen they could take in to space that would work in zero gravity............... The Russians took a pencil..............

A moment that changed the world I think was the assassination of JFK............ changed American foreign policy forever..........

November 1957, Laika, the first dog in space, cruel as it was, it died supposedly painlessly, after a week.
