How often do you think photos should be updated?
Mine are quite old now I feel, though I refuse to age and my body hasn't changed, fitter now if anything I'm still wondering is it time to get some new ones.

And this question is for you guys, do you prefer professional pictures or home taken selfie ones?

I'd probably say home taken because I've been fooled once or twice with photoshop, I got there & she was about 7-10 years older than advertised & in complete bits! Unfortunately I didn't look & leave! Although I have done that a few times!

I would say pics should be updated at least every 18 months!

Hmm. Good question.

As slick as the professional ones can look, they can create a slightly unrealistic impression of what a potential client might expect. With selfies, a client will know he's seeing the "real deal". On the other hand, selfies might not do justice to how good a lady really looks.

That'd be my thinking too - I can understand why the professional ones are done, but they can be misleading at times - in both directions. Theres one escort in my area that I would have no interest in meeting from the professional photos, but she's posted a couple of selfies and she's gorgeous. (although maybe its the make-up artist in that case rather than the photographer). The short video clips are great for getting a sense of the real person.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules. I'd say when they are no longer an accurate reflection. For some that's a decade, for others, a year!

I think as others have said, a mix is good, or failing that a good photographer who doesn’t go batshit mental with with touch ups afterward. I think your photos have always fallen into that bracket, professional shots that still show the person you will meet. Like these of you taken from another thread are ideal. I hope is ok to re post.
