So my best mate is getting married and was meant to have a partner going with me but unfortunately we are no more so does anyone know if its a thing that the beautiful ladies of this site accompany guys to weddings??

Are you best man? I'd personally be way too concerned bringing an escort. She's more than likely a foreign lady and would you just be pretending yous are dating? You would surely have to know her well and trust her. I think I could pull it off with a regular girl I see, but there would be a lot of questions I'm sure. Do you really hate the idea of going alone? I don't think going alone is a big deal. I'm sure an escort would go with her rates for outcall covered, but she would have to know you a bit I think. Sounds a bit messy in my opinion.

On a serious note, I can understand wanting to have some of the ladies here on your arm at an event, but the level of preparation would be off the charts. Seems like way too much trouble.

I'm not doubting her professionalism at all - in one sense its a long (really long) role-play as weddings can be quite a day & night at the best of times. With the right person it could be a bit of fun, but then I find most weddings to be a drag, even my own!

For sure, I have a friend who is a real lady and know how to dress from simply to posh way. all depends about your age etc...she doesnt see young men, so if you are 50+ you have a big chance.she is a class woman

My friend isnt Irish and no young but is a class woman who you never say she is escort.

Not sure it would work tbh. In my case I'd have to ask a girl I've met before at least a few times, considering all of the girls I meet are so far outa my league or not in the same age bracket...... it would be fairly obvious what I was doing.

Then my second cousin and the DJ could be a regular of hers.
Think it would be awkward at best.

To be honest, I wouldn’t do it for various reasons.

People know you spilt with your ex now you bring another one to the wedding so soon.

People will start asking “your date” questions like how’s do you meet etc.

Someone might even recognise her and let the cat out of the bag.

The whole thing would be messy and you wouldn’t be able to relax.

You don’t need to bring someone to a wedding. Go on your own and have great craic with your mates.

You might even meet a lovely woman there who’s single herself. Weddings are great places to meet someone.
