You’re forgetting about the weapons the US and UK left behind in Afghanistan.

That's not going to help things one bit. It should be postponed atm.

The US left behind in Afghanistan €85 billion dollars worth of equipment. Reckless beyond words and belief

    Hi Stephanie

The war isn't about NATO or Nazis or saving Russian speakers or whatever . . . it's about power and cold hard currency. Putin doesn't care about his own troops, who they kill, or why. Ukraine was just the next in a series of things he's used to solidify power.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...ing/ar-AAW3T2w It's the same thing he's been doing for the last 20+ years - create crisis situation to allow him to increase his authority and power and then profit off it.

Putin and his very wealthy cronies already have what they wanted:

    1) Free press now illegal in Russia - (it's not just about the war - publishing anything not sanctioned by the Kremlin is against the law.) (slow progression over 20ish years now complete)
    2) 83% approval rating (public buys the Kremlin line) (any resistance like Putin's "fifth column" has either left the country or been rounded up as traitors)
    3) He and his cronies can spend the next decade continuing to rob the Russian people and sell Russian resources while his cronies take the lions share of the profits and give Putin aka the mafia boss his cut.
    4) The longer the war goes on and the more it becomes Russia vs. the West the better.
