    the stuff of nightmares,

she looked so vibrant and full of life,

I often wonder do people get any premonition of when they will die,

imagine her going to work yesterday full of life, everything ahead of her, and then that was to be her last day alive,

struggling to get my head around that.

what can one say I suppose

Lets don’t forget. A week ago. Young lady Alanna Quinn was attacked by two man. Very brutal, violent attack. They been released on €200 bail. Which is absolutely not acceptable.

We need to address how woman are viewed and treated and talk about.

In general I consider myself relatively cold, or at events like funerals, the sadness does not grip me in the way it seems to show on most people,
    ,
but these cases of young women losing their lives tragically young, they always fill me with sadness,

I am somewhat spiritual actually and keep the names of some of these women in my mind and light candles and so on,

RIP God love her family and those left behind
    100% agree with you sentiments
Unfortunately there are a certain percentage of men who have a really f**ked up view of women
It’s a time for reflection really, no woman should be afraid to go for a jog. No man should accept that their friends view women as objects.
We are all worthy of respect and a should at a minimum treat people as we would expect to be treated.
I know this is naive and doesn’t account for sick bas***ds but is it really too much to expect?

This is a despicable crime BUT maybe if for a minute we ignored she was a woman, it is irrelevant of the victims sex, we need to get much much tougher on crime, with mush harsher sentences for all violent crimes regardless of who commits them and who the victim is.

Likewise all violent crime needs to be properly investigated, regardless of the victim.

I would imagine that most murderers will have committed violent crimes in the past and the courts have been to soft on them. And I say most, not all.

It is sick enough when a person is murdered / seriously assaulted by someone who has never committed a crime in the past, but when they have previous history and received short sentences or released on bail etc, that is just unforgivable on the state for failing in its duty of care to protect us all.

They have arrested a Romanian national in his 40s...he was well known for violent crimes. Very sad about the poor young woman. I don't know how these criminals are left on the street.
