This is an excellent point. A teenage girl could have been killed last week and the guy who took her eye out is sitting at home with his feet up.

He'll get three years inside if they can prove he did it, out after 18 months probably.

Cowards/scum like this should be put away until they are in their 70s, it's not acceptable for this kind of vermin to be on the streets at any stage between the age of 18 to 70 because the next step from almost killing someone is actually killing someone.

No idea what the background of the suspect is in the Tullamore murder, but I can bet he has a past.

if i had to hear 1 more story about some lad with 50 previous convictions who commited a crime
or other lads getting a slap on the wrist for serious crimes,i'd have put my fist through the fucking

They have arrested a Romanian national in his 40s...he was well known for violent crimes. Very sad about the poor young woman. I don't know how these criminals are left on the street.

Looks like the guards have put all their eggs in one basket and haven't enough evidence to charge him.

This means that this guy did it and has a some sort of alibi or the real murderer is still walking around while the cops are looking for a bicycle

This was an awful murder. It's very hard to think about anything else in recent days. Also find myself thinking about other women murdered over the years. Thinking about Sophie Tuscan Du Plantier. The beast who killed her was never charged although there is tons of evidence. Also thinking of poor Jean McConville who had a bullet put through head by Irish Republican scumbags. We all know who was involved in that too. And so many other cases, I could go on. RIP to all.

Exactly. Guards turned that into a shit show with evidence being made inadmissible and solid leads not followed up.
