Even if the face is blurred publicly to people visiting there profile surely you have to take some ownership of the risk?

Your responses on this post seem to acknowledge fake profiles exist. Should you not be working on countermeasures for this.?
Even going one step further, if they actually cared about everyone's safety, they would require photos in a certain format be submitted, even if the advertiser chooses not to use them.

In this day and age, a selfie with date/time and geolocation from a smartphone tied to the advertiser's account could easily be mandated.

This surely would help with verifying age and trafficking concerns.

Manual verification of photos then by ei staff and advertisers cannot change photos without this verification happening, unless they prefer not to use photos of themselves, in which case the advert would then indicate that the photos are unverified.

Could also mandate update of photos every x amount of time. Or indicate similarly on the profile that's the photos haven't been updated in a long time.

Or, you know, might be easier and cheaper to just send a uniformed ei staff member with every punter to confirm in person.

    Safety in numbers, after all.

    A photo shoot costs approximately 2,000 € .

    : Photographer’s fee ; location = upscale hotel / Shelbourne : 500 € , transport , food , etc .

    : One Full day off from Steph’s entertaining = x € .

: if the photos that are on the advert are still a True representation of the advertiser ,

I do not see a reason to go for one Q year or quarter ..

So long my guests are pleasantly surprised when I open the door , and they’re pleased

to see me and keep returning , why go through the very expensive / irking trouble ?

Btw. : did a photo shoot a couple of months ago . Brill photos . Haven’t used them yet x

As to EI “mandating” Anything - they’re in no position to do so / as far as how recent pics are .

But they’re sure as heck In position to Demand that Identity photos Match advert Photos ! Grrr !
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.

    A selfie costs nothing.

And I'm under no illusion that ei will actually do anything like listen to us given the attitude shown in this thread.

Trading standards must come into this debate somewhere. If someone, or a company advertised and it looked nothing like what was advertised, they could be held to account.

It is only my opinion, El has a duty of care towards both escorts and those who visit escorts to ensure that:

Photograps display are a true likeness of the person advertising on their site.

Secondly, that photographs indicate the true age of the person.

Advertisers should be requied to produce photographic ID that can be checked aginst their profile pictures. I take it that everyone travelling to Ireland must have a passport. Many escort who live in Ireland may also have a driving licence.

Thirdly, a policy of no vercation, no photographs displayed on profiles should be enforced.

Lastly, any protographs flaged as "Fake" should be taken down until they are looked into by El. The current reporting system is a joke.

If El had stricter rules, clients could feel more secure in using the site and this in turn could boost profits for all the honest women on this site and in turn El. Only advertises with something to hide have anything to worry about.

There needs also to be an overhaul of the review system and also escorts allowed to view client references.

At the moment El are running an amateurish operation that is far from professional. Both escorts and clients deserve a better level of online professional protection that is currently being offered.

Professional pics are great 👍 but a selfie is much more realistic to what the person actual looks like.

I agree, a good selfie tells more than an airbrushed profile, but even selfies can be faked now LOL

Users will be aware of the risks associated with visting profiles that have unverified pictures but not every advertiser wishes to use their real photos for previously discussed reasons.
Surely in these cases, couldn't EI supply stock photos for use.
To discourage the use of misleading and or stolen photos?

but HWM, you know it has always been like this, Escorts will continue to use incorrect pictures as long as its allowed and it gets clients to their door,
All the bigger sites have tightened up on this and now even on correct nationalities due to complaints of its members, even booking appointments online have got stricter and this is a good thing as everyone playing on a level playing field and knows the score

    Hi everyone,

To make it easier for us, could you please report the photos or profile? We will take a closer look at the reports.
You will find the button at the end of each ad and at the end of the gallery.

    Thanks for your help
