Default Has anyone ever walked away from the door of an escort?

As in she opened the door, and you suddenly got a different impression (for whatever reason) from what you expected. I think a lot of punters in this situation will just say "oh well I've come this far..." and go ahead with it. Is it important for punters to remember that this is an option?

Yes. If the person that opens the door is not the person I've come to meet. It's happened quite a few times that the door opens and the woman on the other side is so far removed from the advert I saw. Or if the woman says her friend is busy but she's available. Fuck that, no point in rewarding scammers.

Yes twice. 1st time I was in the ladies bedroom and decided not to go through with the appointment because she couldn't provide the service i requested on the phone despite confirming twice on the phone she had the item I requested and the service was available. 2nd time I left when the girl who opened the door clearly wasn't the girl I made the appointment with.

It is an option, but I have gone ahead with the appointment . If I was sure I could leave without causing offence I would have left. There is also a slight fear factor . You are someplace unfamiliar . Even if the profile was misleading , leaving may generate an angry response as the lady has that time scheduled for you so you are seen as the one responsible for her not getting her money.

Here we have the epiphany of the punterhood... If I leave she will be mad!!!.. She might do something!!!... she might send me cross texts, she might expose me!!!...... . Load a Bollix.

Buddy, If she is not the girl you booked, or even not as per profile, then she is a scammer, a trier, a misleading, money taking fraud...

Walk lad... You'll be happier after..

I can remember two occasions I walked away after entering the escort's apartment. A couple of years ago I went to see an older lady (I have a taste for mature women) but once we got into the bedroom, and I got a good look at her, I was shocked by how old she looked. She really was like an old grandmother. She advertised as ~50 years old but she looked about 70. I was totally put off by her appearance, so much so that I made some lame excuse and got the hell out of there.

On a different occasion I visited a Brazilian escort here in Galway. Her photos were verified and she had a couple of quite positive reviews. When she opened the door she was wearing a dressing gown and all the lights were dimmed. After she led me to her bedroom, which was also in near total darkness, I insisted on turning on the light. Her face was covered in dark blotches, like skin lesions. I asked her to open her gown a little so I could see. Her entire chest, torso, and legs were also covered in these big dark marks. Immediately I left the apartment. I felt bad for the girl because of her skin condition (and there was something vulnerable, almost apologetic about her demeanor after she showed me her body) but the marks and blotches were quite repulsive to look at. Apart from the inconsistency of her photos and her actual appearance, I wasn't taking the risk with my health.

I know I said I won’t ever get involved in the forum but for this I have to.

Escorting is a business at the end of the day just like any other.(I hate to call it that and I try to my hardest to make it seem less than a transaction but that’s what it it)
I always joke that it’s a bit more similar to PR than I would like to admit. So just as any other business you as a provider have to present yourself as the best version of yourself in your advert. And dealing with people is the hardest thing to do. You can never please everyone

If you are a professional then you invest in outfits, hair, makeup, nails etc and present yourself as the best version of yourself(even if it’s a selfie)

As fun as it may seem to present yourself with messy hair or the takeaway stained pjs in a photo that should be the outfit you want to send a selfie to your bff in just for the Craic. Presenting yourself like that in front of a potential regular client will ruin work.

Returning to the subject-we present ourselves in our adverts as the best versions of ourselves. So as to attract business. If someone doesn’t look like her photos then yes by all means fecking run. But you cannot expect a 100 photo accuracy to the photos. Most photos are camera angles, photoshop, lights and I doubt any lady would put her stretchmaks out there. There are plenty videos on YouTube again on how tricky a photo can be. Even some of my photos from photo shoots are so unflattering that you will say if you see them that it’s not me.

As much as I would agree with you regarding on feeling cheated on regarding that lady’s skin issue(which from what you have described are just age spots-google that up) I feel for that lady as I suffer from dermatitis which is flaring up if I go through extreme stress and no amount of makeup will cover it up. It’s not something transmissible and I can say hands down that the clients who have met me were never bothered by it, but I won’t be in a rush to put a photo on here where you can see it, but I also don’t have a problem to hide it from anyone and talk about it. I won’t ever be apologetic about a condition I have that doesn’t depend on me. I don’t wish for it, it’s not a blessing, it’s hundreds of euros of medication spent that works for a bit and then stops working.

It would have been nice to ask the lady in a nice and polite manner what happened to her as I doubt that any lady would put their health or their clients health at risk

You can tell from certain locations that its likely to be a shitty experience.

The bogus reviews are a dead giveaway too.

Nina nails it as always - in what I assume is not her first language.

You have to set realistic expectations where photos are concerned. I have met a handful of escorts who manage to look stunning every time, but most are human, and it is not reasonable to expect a new photo shoot every time they change their hair. I spend a lot if time looking for clues in photos and reviews so have had very few big surprises, but a few times I have not been sure at first if it was a different person.

I think I have regretted staying only twice, and those were when I was new to this. I have also walked twice when it was a clear bait-and-switch situation - "xxx is not available but you can see me if you like". When girls have looked more like a real person than the glamour shots I have always stayed and have been pleased afterwards that I did.
