What would you do ?

: I have just watched one of the Worst ,

one of the most Frightening and ‘realistic’ ( Palin )

and ultimately one of the ‘best’

All Star Studded movies in my recent memory ::

I would fetch my dogs , drive all of us to a temperate climate place with fields and water ;


I’d throw the ball for my Big Dog to his heart’s desire and I’d jack him up on painkillers

so he could chase that Ball all he wants , without pain ;


I’d gaze into the deep soulful eyes of my Collie , he is so loving so loyal so deep so playful such a joy ..


I’d comfort my 14 year old Girl pup and let her as she wishes : she has always been so independent ,

so smart .. I’d stroke her whenever she’d want it , and let her when she wants to just Be ..


I’d let my little Sass sleep on my chest like she used to when she was a pup ,

her heart beating against mine .. she’s all of 3kg ..


Their years go by so fast ! In the blink of an eye …


I’d turn off the internet . Listen to the winds . And the sky .

String up my hammock ..

I would attempt to have a positive impact on as many people's lives as possible.

I see life as less about me and more about us.

I jest of course. Being told that you are unlikely to live beyond a certain time does focus the mind wonderfully and you do get a clear idea of what is important.

My first priority would be not to leave too much of a mess for those left behind.

My first priority would be to make sure my kids know and have access to my assets and there are no nasty surprises for them. Like life assurance policies, access to bank accounts etc.

Then I would go through my phone book and say my good byes to people who have had an impact on my life over the years, and then I would go on an almighty bender
