I found it good but the only thing I didn't like is, it uses a lot of latin American Spanish. I then heard of a website called Italki.com. There are a few thousand teachers in whatever language you want. Some of them offer free a introductory lesson. I've been using it now for s year and do my lessons via zoom or skype.

During one of my lessons my teacher recommended another app called Busuu. There are structured lessons on it and I find it good aswell.

Wishing you well on your language learning adventure.

Thank you. That’s very helpful. Starting Spanish next year. It’s one of my goals. I am very bad with learning languages. I was fluent in German. Learnt at school 8 years and I graduated from it. I learn English here in Ireland. But how I don’t use German I forgot all. Even after so many years in Ireland my English it’s crap But I am obsessed with Spanish. Mainly Mexican Spanish is nice. Different then in Spain.
I love how it sounds. So I wanna give try next year. Get classes. I have friends with who I can practice. So fingers cross. I was in Spain twice this year and next time I want to be able to understand or have lil convo.

What worked best for you? Learning via apps like Duolingo etc, children's books of that language, immersion trips and so on.

    Thanks in advance!

Your English is excellent. Irish people are very bad at speaking other languages, myself included.

My actual only regret in life is not been able to speak languages, it is one of the biggest failing of the Irish educational system.

My grandkids will be sent to gaelscoils and also taught languages from a very young age.

Huge respect for all those that speak several languages, they do put us to shame.

    It's just a wish.
Anyway I like to learn language which is out of this world! There's no other language similar to it and it's in a middle of the Europe!
