I book a day or two in advance due to one or two of my favourites needing advance notice so the lady can be ready for me, I have one lady I see quite often and we have become friends in the process

If I want a watersports session I'll book as far in advance as I can but I rarely book the day before as I'll never know if I'll be horny or not.
