Is fried white cabbage, oinion, bacon and potatoes an Irish thing, or just a Derry thing. By the way HP sauce goes great with this too lol

    I:Yes

    Naw: No

    Wee:Small

Ye or Yea: old English/Scottish for you

    Neb: nose

    Burn: river

Brave: Old English for good or big.

Dublin was influenced by old English because it was an English colony. The North was settled by mostly Scottish. Then then native Irish language was mixed in with English and Scottish.

    Gob: mouth
Funny that, if you think about a stereotypical northern accent like the orange men, the inner dublin north accent and the billy connolly accent they sound derived from each other
Class, a bit of sass and a lot a ass? Oh Hi!

Most of the world think we're strange for eating crisp sandwiches and for putting vinegar on our chips
We have two lives , the second begins when we realise we only have one .....

    Right. Where should I start?
Culture? OK. Small country with big history! Love Irish music, people, smile in face. Really sad about Irish language itself. Kids learning it at school like a foreign one.
Amazing country, mountains, rivers, food and drinks! STEW!
Living in Ireland? Safe! Glad that I came here. My body belongs to Ireland, but my heart is where I'm from.
    Love you Ireland
