Thread: Genuine issues raised, instantly shut down

Default Genuine issues raised, instantly shut down

A couple of days ago I made a post. I won’t say what about or this thread will be stopped dead in it’s tracks. This site silences anyone who opposes them or even at the very least, raises concerns or suspicions. Why is this accepted ? What can we do about this ? We are funding this website.

Let me just add this. Human trafficking is a very real issue and it is here in Ireland. If you choose to ignore that then you are part of the problem.

    Hi there,

We agree with you, however, we believe that the best way to address such a delicate issue is with news, evidence, useful information and not speculation.

I am guessing the nature of your post from what you said.

If you really think you have information about someone being trafficked or exploited, the best way to help them is to pass it on to Gardai (phone your local station) or - in the north - PSNI (phone the non emergency number 101, or the Modern Slavery Helpline 0800 0121 700).

Starting a thread here will help no one, and will only hurt the business of independent escorts.

We most definitely do not fund the website

Because if you are wrong you could get a girl deported and her hard earned cash taken off her. This is one of the reasons why sex work should be legalized, so it removes any ambiguity of a sex workers status and safety checks can be made on them if need be. But the prohibitionist movement don't want that because they are not interested in escorts safety only there one agenda.

Sex work should be decriminalised, not legalised. This is what Sex Workers want and it's what we should want and support too!

    DECRIMINALISATION
    - In a decriminalised setting sex workers are more empowered to negotiate with clients.
    - Sex workers can attend health and other services and expect a non-discriminatory service.
    - Other legislation covers a broad range of issues including sexual & labour exploitation, in both commercial & private contexts.
    - Industrial legislation has zoning laws for business that can be applied to sex businesses.
    - Sex workers can report violence without fear of arrest & expect a rightful prosecution.
    - Corruption decrease as authorities have less power to demand bribes from sex workers, and sex workers can report corruption.
    - Existing Occupational Health & Safety legislation can help sex workers to secure better worker places.

You wont know, until you try!

If we stopped funding sex workers, in turn they could not pay to advertise on this website. So yes we do fund this website.

If they don’t pay a few hundred per week or per month to advertise then we can’t buy the service.

A few hundred escorts vs thousands or more men

Will always be a business model here. You or 1 won’t change that.
