Lightbulb What improved your quality of life so much?

    I need some good vibes...

I would like to know what improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner?

If I were to answer first I would say train before work, go to bed early and eat more protein.

I know it sounds superficial... but I think it has changed me a lot.
    What about you?

What have you been wanting to incorporate into your routine but haven't done yet?

    exercise, mainly long distance running
    drinking water during the day
    no eating after 6pm
cutting out as much junk as poss from my diet
aiming for at least 10-15,000 steps a day
also not overthinking stuff, pay attention to the important things and ignore the rest

believe me, this is one of the cornerstones of a happy soul, the amount of time I wasted sweating the small things is shocking, basically I've zero f**ks to spare anymore

I had planned on doing a dopamine detox last year but the restrictions and upheaval put an end to that. Might still try it after Christmas.

Meditation and mindfulness have been a big part of managing stress over the years.

I wish I started going to the gym/exercise with weights sooner. That's the only thing that improved my QoL.

I'd love to get better at Meditation and mindfulness, I find it so easy not to do and hard to concentrate for it, I reckon it would help with anxiety which I think I get from work. I think I probably have some sort of mild ADHD when it comes to things like meditation.

The anxiety only came on once I got promoted in work to a position I'm not good at. So what's helped me the most over the past couple months is to basically put work as the highest priority in life. I know that sounds the opposite of what most say you should do but I've always been the kind to make sure family and friends and generally enjoying life outside of work take a high priority.

But doing my new role and keeping that attitude wasn't cutting it, now that I'm more focused on my job I'm doing much better and starting to get to grips with it, I'm not as stressed or working as long hours because my competence is going up so all around it's been a positive. Hopefully down the road I'll have a bit more time for the rest but I guess it's okay to focus on the career at certain times.

Also seeing escorts more often this year has been a great relief, I think the more stressed/anxious I am the hornier I am for some reason. Thank God for them!

It only takes 10-15 mins, just focus on your breathing. Allow the thoughts to drift through your mind, don't dwell on them. Sounds easy and gets easier with practice.

Maybe it can be helpful but my meditation is active with positive projections about memories or goals... and it works for me, it makes my mind paint a picture where I love to be!

Playing hide the willy with different ladies seriously improved my quality of life and mental wellbeing. Also learning to say f#€k off to certain braindrainers helps
