Savannah: Over the years you have visited many escorts and left many reviews. If you had to choose your TOP 5, which one would it be?
MidlifeCrisis: I have been lucky enough that singling out 5 seems impossible, and putting them in order even more so, so I'm going to cheat a bit, giving my top 5 who are retired, and my top 5 still advertising. I'm also going to leave out girls that I have only met once or twice, no matter how amazing they are - Emily and Becca come to mind.

Savannah: What makes you repeat with the same escort? Do you think there must be some kind of chemistry in the encounter for it to be special or do you don't mind if it is not?
MidlifeCrisis: I might go back a couple of times to a beautiful escort with all the skills, but unless I felt some sort of personal connection I would soon lose interest. I completely understand girls who choose to hide behind a professional escort persona, but the ones that I enjoy seeing again and again are those who open up a bit once they get to trust you, telling you about home life, family etc. The perfect escort is a natural "people person", with a genuine curiosity about others.
The ones that I have visited the most would also be the ones I would choose as companions on a platonic holiday.
Savannah: The escort's job is not easy, what aspects do you think could improve her daily life?
MidlifeCrisis: That's not easy to answer as a client. Sometimes girls open up a bit about the stresses of their job, but I would not claim any deep understanding. The negatives are mostly down to bad guys, and there is not much that good guys can do to counter that, except do our best to make the girls feel safe and appreciated during our time with them.
Most escorts tell me that frightening experiences are very rare, but I am continually impressed by their courage, opening the door to the unknown on a regular basis.
I don't think legalisation is a good answer, even if I believed it was a realistic possibility. I have dabbled a bit in a couple of places where sex work is fully legal and regulated, and it was as much fun as a visit to the dentist - soulless and clinical.
Savannah: Have you given gifts to escorts during your visits? If so... which one was the most special? And if not, do you understand those who do?
MidlifeCrisis: I generally only bring gifts to girls I have got to know a bit. I have brought my share of boring chocolates and wine, some of which I'm sure went in the bin, but I sometimes get a bit more imaginative.
For a long appointment I bought one lady a BMW watch because she was obsessed with her convertible (some readers of this may guess who I'm talking about!).
I brought one Brazilian girl a bottle of Cachaca and the associated trimmings to make Caipirinha cocktails, which I think went down well.
One more that comes to mind is a silver St Brigid's Cross that I gave to a lady who was finishing building a house in her home country. She has sent me a photo of it over her fireplace.
I once let my new car star in a photo shoot for a special lady, when she got excited about the idea and begged me to do it. I was the photographer, on a beautiful sunny day high up in the Wicklow mountains, and I had to work quite hard to keep the car anonymous. It was a lot of fun, and she kept her promise not to use the pictures here.

Savannah: The industry has changed over the years, what is the most obvious difference for you?
MidlifeCrisis: I'm not the best person for this question, as I have only been around here for about six years. There are some members here who were active before web advertising became a thing, and replaced more primitive ways to do business. This has to have been a good thing all round, making things much safer for everyone, and much easier for girls to operate independently. I would never have got started without reviews and the forum.
The law changes on both sides of the border came in early in my time. That has not had much impact on me (so far - I hope never!). As has been discussed to death on the forum here, things have gone on much as before for most of us.
I don't feel that things are dramatically different now to six years ago. As some of our favourite ladies say goodbye, we are blessed with a steady stream of new superstars in the making. I hope this old body holds out for a little while yet!
