Son should really have made the team.

I'm delighted Ronaldo made it at 37 years of age too. 18 goals and 3 assists in the league in a desperate United team including two hat tricks.

Intersting that there are 6 liverpool players and just 3 from city. A great achievement by ronaldo to make it.

I think Son should be there ahead of Mane. 23 goals to 16 goals is a big difference and he had more assists for a lesser team also. Mane is a top player, but there were already a lot of Liverpool players included. I'd say Son will be very disappointed by that and rightly so. Brilliant for Ronaldo...that might shut up Merson and Carragher.

No disrespect to Mane who appears to be a pretty decent individual on a personal basis but fully agree with you re Son. No penalties in his total and a much weaker support team around him. TBH I would think he should have been the player of the season and that coming from a West Ham fan is something !
