Dawson must be one of the best value purchases in the league in the last two years. I was horrified when I heard he was joining, in his first two matches he went down early in both games with what appeared to be something like low blood pressure or something which only convinced me I was right, boy, did he prove me wrong !

He is indeed, 2 and a half year deal. Be interesting to see how he does in the Premier League, big step up from Scotland

Best of luck to Stevie , I wonder has something changed, I was curious recently when Liverpool’s assistant manager joked that Milner was Klopps assistant, at that time I just thought had Milner put himself in a better position by being at Liverpool and watching Klopp day in , day out , would be a brilliant education for him ,
If Gerrard sees himself as LFC manager someday he has to succeed at Villa and no gaurantee of that

Gerrard has long been touted as next Liverpool manager but has a lot to do yet to prove himself up to that role. Couldn't see Milner getting it unless he went out and proved himself somewhere first.
Will be interesting to see how Liverpool fare when Michael Edwards leaves this summer. He's been instrumental in their success, making great signings and moving players on for a good profit.

Many Rangers supporters are not too happy about this move for Gerrard but that`s how the world of football is. Hopefully things will work out for him as the new Villa boss.
    The Truth is out there.

Danny Murphy made some brilliant points on Talksport , he couldn’t understand why Gerrard would risk not succeeding Klopp by going to Villa , because if it goes wrong, he will never manage in PL again, but maybe he has unbelievable belief in his own ability,
What are Villa’s ambitions ? , I can’t see them challenging for CL positions
I don’t see Milner succeeding Klopp , but he is very well respected and will be a good manager some day , he has played under many top coaches,

Don't think Gerrard could have ever done enough at Rangers to get the Liverpool job, he was always going to have to go test himself in a bigger/better league first.
I'd imagine Villa feel that they should be challenging for Europe, up in the top 7/8 places in the league.

Lampard has withdrawn from consideration for the next Norwich manager`s job. It appears that Dean Smith will be back in management soon. He is expected to be appointed as the new Canaries boss possibly as soon as tomorrow.

Great game to start the weekend action
Leicester v Chelsea, If Leicester are on top form and not distracted by talk of Rodgers going to Utd , then I think they can get a draw , I go for 2-2
Massive game for Utd at 3 away to Watford , could be a defining moment for Ole , if Ranieri gets Watford playing well, I think Watford could win 3-2

I agree with you on Chelsea’s defence , but Burnley could have scored 2 or 3 had they been a little more composed , I still think teams with a lot of pace up front will hurt them ,
    Lookman starts, No Lukaku
