The stated "Key Findings" of this report are:
Key findings
The aim of this study is to formally and rigorously document the impact that Covid-19 is having on the Irish sex trade at this unprecedented time in our history.
The trade attempted to respond to the pandemic with a ‘business as usual’ approach as far as was possible, but it was clear that this crisis had a devastating impact on the lives and wellbeing of many women in prostitution right across Ireland.
Despite that claim, they admit that they haven't interviewed a single escort for that report, not one, the excuse being Covid19 restrictions.
Neither is there any input allowed from SWAI
It is essentially a study of the E-I website over the period of the pandemic, along with the usual tropes from Ruhama.
It doesn't make good reading though.
You would have to say E-I, with its published accounts, history, and well documented turnover is the biggest propaganda weapon Ruhama has in its continual quest- for government funding.

And there is also a bit for the ladies too...
"These women’s wellbeing
is clearly very far from their minds as they are focused entirely on the achievement of their own
sexual gratification.
I can do better research than that:
What a piece of garbage of research, the person who wrote it took only books as references, why didn't she interview any escorts and ask them directly, is call KEY INFORMANT.
I am fuming...![]()

A pathetic piece of garbage, that made no attempt whatsoever to talk to any of the advertisers here, nor even the punters who left reviews.
If this study was presented as part of an exam, I would fail it for making no attempt at been objective and interviewing any of the advertisers to hear their views.

The Author is a former Ruhama employee, likely with very close links to them still. No surprises there. How can people so involved with "protecting" women in the sex industry be so completely and utterly out of touch with the matter they claim to be experts about.
Rather than helping improve the landscape of the sex industry they are using their platform as vehicle for their own weird and "righteous" ideologies. They remind me of those cults you tend to see in America like Jehovah's Witnesses or similar shite. Virtue signalling gone wild... and no one will speak out against them in fear of being cancelled or accused of hating women or some low bar vitriol like that.
UCD should be ashamed to allow such substandard quality academic "research" bare it's name. The bar here for publication is incredibly low apparently...

I read it
Part of the Conclusion:
"It is clear that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought into very sharp relief the harmful and abusive
nature of the Irish sex trade as well as the detrimental impacts it has on those who are exploited
within it....
From my point of view nothing more far from reality.
Do I need to keep going?? Ladies we need your help...

Delusional claptrap, just playing to the usual narrow minded narrative, not a single escort interviewed, tells you all you need to know about this “independent” study
