Jesus Christ another load of bullshit! I’ve been in this 13 years and never know a trafficked woman, pimps or brothels although some must exist but not to the extent they are talking about.

Who are these people who write this? I’m sure I could find skeletons in their closets.

    My blood is boiling

Could we really expect any different from something calling itself
    the Sexual Exploitation Research Programme?

The Author had her intentions and views long decided before she even opened

The Author is a former Ruhama employee, likely with very close links to them still. No surprises there. How can people so involved with "protecting" women in the sex industry be so completely and utterly out of touch with the matter they claim to be experts about.

Rather than helping improve the landscape of the sex industry they are using their platform as vehicle for their own weird and "righteous" ideologies. They remind me of those cults you tend to see in America like Jehovah's Witnesses or similar shite. Virtue signalling gone wild... and no one will speak out against them in fear of being cancelled or accused of hating women or some low bar vitriol like that.

UCD should be ashamed to allow such substandard quality academic "research" bare it's name. The bar here for publication is incredibly low apparently...

The Pandemic has dealt the traffickers who traffickered girls and drugs into the country a huge blow and yes trafficking is a huge issue here and people know it
Ruhama is winning all the time and SWAI seems to put their foot in it all the time they get involved.
Yes there should have been more help for the indepentent escorts during the Pendemic but what do the Governments or these groups care, they do not as in reality their goal is to gradually reduce or stamp this profession out with their laws

Delusional claptrap, just playing to the usual narrow minded narrative, not a single escort interviewed, tells you all you need to know about this “independent” study

Exactly, when you're writing bullshit for a university paper you pick your topic and look at content in books and on the web that agree with your point. Obviously the student(s) who wrote this paper are going to find material that backs their point up to maximise their marks. They're not going to against the goal of the essay and end up with lower marks.

Undoubtedly the author spends a lot of time on EI so if you are reading this, for your next project do something on, lets say racism and maybe you could post your questions to KKK for balanced view of that topic.

Not only have they not spoken to any escorts
they have ,incredibly , not been in communication with SWAI (the sex worker led organisation in Ireland that tries to give a voice to all sex workers).Needless to say organisations such HIV Ireland or Amnesty International were ignored. That much of the unsubstantiated data was drawn from Escort Ireland is beyond irony. The support of Ruhama is ,of course , to be expected but the article fails to mention Ruhama’s egregious and intimate connection with the Magdalene laundries .That Ruhama is not challenged or at least questioned about this is a mysterious failure .Benson must have allies in power.
If the article were to be peer reviewed by ,say, Eilís Ward or Gillian Wylie , the result would be interesting.
Finally the thought that tax payers’ money goes to support this poorly researched and skewed publication is a scandal.
