Default laptop online price mistake ?

I was online last night just browsing for a potential new laptop, and i come across this https://www.littlewoodsireland.ie/as...1600572663.prd

now i have seen the same laptop on littlewoods uk for over 600 and varioUs of other uk website for close to 500...

now either the laptop is rubbish and out of date or its been priced incorrect,

any opinion on the price and laptop, im not laptop savvy at all ?

i ordered 3 by the way...as i mentioned it to 2 friends and they wanted one at that price...

maybe grab yourself a bargain ?

€270 - is a good price for a basic laptop with a large screen - email, word processing, browsing the web & playing videos should work ok without any loss of noticeable speed.

However it may struggle with some computer games, Photoshop & updating multiple linked spreadsheets - They will work but may be slow.

Buying a computer/laptop is akin to buying a car - it depends what you want to do with it

The chipset was first released in 2019 - Enjoy - Hope this helps !!

    Is this a price thread?
My wife caught me wearing ladies underwear and threatened to leave me.
So I packed up all her clothes
    And left.

Not true in all cases - depends on the chipset when it was released and if it is is dual or quad-core.

"For the most part, you'll get faster CPU performance from the Core i5 parts over Core i3. Some Core i5 processors are dual-core and some are quad-core. Most of the time, a true quad-core CPU will perform better than a dual-core processor, especially on multimedia tasks like video transcoding or photo editing. All Core i3 processor are dual core."

    Taken from here https://uk.pcmag.com/processors/1672...-core-i3-vs-i5

I suppose this is not really a topic for here- so will cease posting on this

I think many on here including myself would welcome a IT advice thread.

    Maybe call it.
