I would never try to frighten or deter anyone from visiting, it is always extremely important to be careful
I had genuine business reasons to be in the locality
I would prefer to not go into detail, but just asked a couple of questions regarding where I had been and where I was going to
It is good for any person to be prepared for those 2 questions, and to stay very calm

I mostly advertise in Northwood these days, not a single person that was visiting me got stopped by police. As for parking, there are quiet few options available: by The Costa Coffee- 2hrs free parking, park by text in visitor spots, park at the sports clinic etc

Santry is not exclusively Northwood. There are various other apartment blocks around the area ---for example towards Ballymun, Omni Park etc


There are a number of apartment blocks around the city (including Northwood) that Gardai keep a eye on for a number of reasons.

Cheers, that's good advice. I always have a couple excuses in my head just in case, but luckily I've never had any issues at all over the years. I think if you're copped on it's easy enough to avoid scenarios that could put you in a bit of trouble. Some people invite problems, in the way the act or carry on in general. But then again, luck has to play a factor and some people are just unlucky with it I suppose.

I've never been stopped myself in the area and find it better than most places.
My information was from this forum I remember from the time a few people got stopped going to apartments across from the spar.
I think I know the spar it's at the first roundabout but don't know the apartments just remember the thread from the time it happened.

I was warned off Santry by a guy on here last time i was in Dublin so I went to a fav in D4 instead.

I dont know Northwood/Santry at all so my question is: If there are that many blocks of apartments in the area, are the escorts mostly in one block - otherwise the Gardai are just targetting random blokes leaving apartment blocks, surely ? Or all the punters likely to be coming out of / going into , one area ?

They are spread all over in about 8 apartments - you do the maths

I have been there in the past but its not a location I would normally visit - just a personal preference -

Yes, I heard about a raid couple of weeks ago, but it was in d18 and they were in the “partygirls” apartment....... I didnt hear anything about Santry, I really like that area.
