If they have "upped their gear" since then does that mean a punter that is approached by a garda today is still only obliged to give their name and address? Or do the guards have more power now?
Nordic Law was never enforced in Ireland, it never got off the ground really, Operation Quest was a shambles and is gone so nothing really as changed much only more violence against girls from the usual low-lifes thugs and trafficking grew more.
Guards were not sure what the law was themselves and were confused and poorly briefed, just ridiculous
You only have to give your name and address and nothing more to a Guard when stopped.
