Who will you be supporting Savannah? Seeing as the boys in Green aren't there I'll put my support behind our Celtic cousins Scotland, especially their match against the English.

They have no chance of winning the tournament but I do like the underdog. Then again Greece hadn't a chance a few years ago and look what happened .

Karim Benzema has been named in the France squad for the Euro finals and is back in the national squad for the first time since 2015. He was involved in a blackmail scandal against a former international teammate and missed out on Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup victory. Deschamps has now brought Benzema back from the international wilderness. Will he justify this decision?

Those of us of a certain vintage will remember Paolo Rossi in the 1982 World Cup Finals. He had been banned for gambling or match fixing as far as I remember. He was brought back into the squad for the competition and helped Italy win the World Cup winning the golden boot.
