    Default The Wolfe tones. Any fans here?

    I'm a huge fan. Went to almost all their cork gigs. Always a great night, dog rough, never seen so many happy angry ppl. Tables, chairs and everything you could stand on. Brilliant nights. Miss them.

    Love them, songs! Never been in any concert of them. Tried 2 years ago in Mallow, but they canceled it... So pity...
    Btw are they still existing???

    As far as I know they are still at it but as a three piece band instead of the original four. Derek Warfield left.

    we did that in Amsterdam years ago, standing on the tables with the strippers.
    I don't know much about the Wolfe Tones but an Irish Taxi man friend of mine was playing it in his taxi one night in London and had with a customer in the car and the customer make a complaint to the taxi firm next day and he got a warning, no more Wolfe Tones
