Are any of you aware of the level of scrutiny you are under. I know that until tonight I did not realise who had access to cctv and for the many varied reasons. I'd say I went white when the discussion opened purely by accident. There was a discussion going on about covid and someone wondered if the effects of covid on various businesses . A lady at the table who works in Castlebar in a very mundane job went on to tell how one business did not suffer and commented on the amount of male visitors to certain apartments. I for one will be swapping my covid mask fore a balaclava

Most CCTV’s are on ground floor, many not even focusing on the lift.
So unless the apartment is located on the ground floor how would anybody know where “male visitors” are going??

Also most cctv systems record on a loop so after a few days the files are gone forever. Have to say I've found Covid masks quite handy for this purpose.

I think you are all missing the point that Claremorris is making. Who ever is looking at CCTV footage and knows what's going on has an opportunity to copy the footage and share it in whatsapp and social media. I could see blackmail coming in to play

Most 'loops' are 30 days ... and nothing is ever 'gone forever'..... everything you have ever deleted from your phone or laptop is still 'stored' somewhere' .... also 'incognito browsing' is not 'incognito' if you know how to search a hard drives history... and also as I mentioned before, every so called 'burner' phone can be traced and the user identified ...
