I was looking for a cheap phone to use and can get old style phone for 40-50 e but can get cheap smartphone for 80 .... Maybe a smartphone might be good if one ever had to contact someone on WhatsApp or avail of virtual service... Interested to find out what others use.. For things you don't want to other half to see

How is that safe if someone is having a sneaky look at your phone, or you get messages at odd times when you're in the company of the 'wife' etc ..... I have a Nokia dual sim 8110.(the retro look in a modern phone) I use one number for business and the other for private use. The second sim is not 'hiding' ... it's not like having a second phone tucked away somewhere that no one knows about ....

You simply disable 1 sim until you want to use it. It would put it in out of service state. It's ideal as no one will really think about it and you wouldn't need to have a second different phone that you have to hide somewhere, it's always on hand.

I'm a long time fan of dual sim phones, I'm on my third one, and I wouldn't buy a new phone that wouldn't have it as a feature. They're extremely practical for so many reasons. They're great for frequent travel, you can always buy a local sim anywhere you go and get the basic data package, without any hassle about losing anything in settings or contacts on your phone. And of course for punting purposes, you can disable the additional sim while it's in the phone, so you don't have to keep putting it in and taking it out each time you use it, and you'll never get any unexpected calls or texts to that sim whilst it's turned off in the phone.

Happy discreet punting gents, a dual sim phone can really be the ticket.
