Can't say I understand what it feels like to experience "white guilt". It does seem to be a sort of "guilt by association" fallacy: just because someone has a similar skin pigmentation or cultural background as Imperial colonisers of the past, they should not be allowed to have an opinion or that there arguments are automatically false. It also has some interesting parallels with the Christian dogma of Original Sin: we share some recent genetic ancestry with European colonists, we should face justice for their crimes.

Would love to read what others think.

I think it'll take another generation for things to sort things out.

Sure it seems RTE had The Simpsons for quite some time before having the balls to show it.
Why? Because they deemed it to project family values in a bad light!

Blue ones are for visibility in medcal/food circumstances. Some will have metal also so can be detected on production lines.

Blue band aids were designed specifically for the catering industry. Reason being there is no 'blue' food, so if a chef is wearing a 'blue' band aid on his finger and he suddenly notices it is 'missing' it's easy find it if it accidentally slipped into the Veg soup or the Chicken Curry .... sounds disgusting but actually true. A flesh coloured band aid going missing in food would be impossible to find .... if you think the curry ends up in the bin, sorry to disappoint you.. I spent 20 years in the catering industry mid 70's / mid 90's ... and it happens,
