Back on topic, what do I really miss most?, drinks and chats with friends, pubs with open fires, sport on loud, opinions being shared, slaging and banter and the craic, put downs and jokes, going out for one and staying for ten, a cholesterol laden purchase on the way home.
I miss the cinema, a round of golf, shared experiences, a meal out, I miss shopping, do you remember when you could actually try on clothes instead of scrolling down a website?. I miss social interaction, smiling at people without a rag on your face, I miss being able to see through non-steamed up glasses, the right to free movement without being questioned about your reasons or destination, I miss Travel, the sun, beaches, that blast of dry heat as you exit the jet, I miss 2019!

As an introvert I can’t say there is a lot I miss during the restrictions. One thing I will gladly miss post pandemic is people trying to invade my personal space with all the fake cheek kissing and hugging that goes on although I see the younger population have adapted to the fist bumping method of premiership footballers
