So what little things do you currently miss ?

Pre 1st lockdown I had a job I hated but it was good money, covid killed it. Now, new job I really like but crap money. So I MISS extra money and the fun things it enables you to do, but I'm happier at the same time, and a little bit sad about the whole thing.

Fuck, life is weird.

You missing your daughter Jessicabp, and anyone else missing loved ones because of travel restrictions, you have my deepest sympathy. Must be really tough, and most of our "I MISS" things pale in comparison.

Little thing, my local bar stool around midday Sunday with a nice fresh, cool pint of Guinness, watching it settle and nobody to bother me

I miss the freedom to go wherever I want whenever I want to without being hassled. I can do this because of my profession but it's starting to get annoying having to answer the same questions again and again.

Sounds a bit like what it used to be like here in the North with the British Army. At least they haven't started blowing up the border roads yet !

im out on the roads everyday do plenty of mileage and only once asked where i was going, and home was the answer and away i went, most checkpoints just wave people through, unless you have a car reg of a different county,
