Default Policing and courts bill UK

Read a piece of an article yesterday on the new policing & courts bill in England. There's one MP who is pushing for the nordic model laws like we have here to be introduced. Any thoughts ?

    I don't care and I don't believe will happen.

without any doubt, it will happen, it is a no brainer, There will be no choice as the UK has cut themselves off from the rest of Europe with Brexit and Traffickering will obviously increase, these criminals see the loophole and will/are taking full advantage and the Nordic Model is the easiest option for the Government.
Also we got alot more groups gathering momentum for the protection of women so puts further pressure on the Government to act to stop it.
Its only a matter of time really but it is coming in some form

We are seeing a lot of momentum against the police and men in general.

It is my belief that the Nordic model only makes matters worse.

Worse for sex workers as attacks have increased since it's introduction.

Worse for clients as it's now illegal.

Worse for men as those who could previously go pay for sex, may now be resorting to violence.

Diana Johnson MP was /is attempting to make amendments to the Policing, Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill, in order to enact the Nordic Model in England and Wales. Basically, a Labour MP adding amendments to a Tory policing bill in order to destroy the lives of sex workers across the UK. She also has her own separate bill which has been delayed getting a second reading, this bill is also an attempt to introduce the same /similar law.

Yes the Nordic Model was introduced to to stop Trafficking and get women out of prostitution and make it as difficult as possible for them to continue in the job and they have succeeded in the latter, in the countries that really enforced it, you and me as clients and the escorts opinions don't matter, we won't be listened to, in the countries that have enforced it had results in their eyes but then they don't care about the unfortunate escorts who rely on it for a living,it turned it all on its head for them and escorts simply don't matter and clients most certainly don't.
You mention attacks have increased, what countries are you talking about?
As long as the governments are seen to be doing something to tackle trafficking, thats all that matters and that will get them the majority of support on the issue, its an easy option for the UK government to go with the Nordic Model since other countries are now introducing it also

Default How the Police Crackdown Bill will impact protests

In the wake of the UK’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill passing at second reading with a sizeable majority, many across the country are despairing at what this means for the future of civil liberties; and in particular, protests.

    I found this interesting

Of course there are many articles where it is claimed sex workers have found a change in attitude towards them. An increase in violence, less ideal clients as the ideal clients are frightened away, and for example in Oslo sex workers discouraged from carrying condoms for fear in incriminates them in the eyes of the police.

It is however harder to get official figures to reflect this as many crimes against sex workers go unrecorded or mis-recorded.
In the same way sex workers are threatened with prosecution for running a brothel, or pimping when infact they are only sharing and I believe claim to.be trafficked to avoid prosecution. Which of course suits the likes of Ruhuma and their own agenda where they can seek further funding from government for crimes that in many instances I believe haven't occurred.

We can only take the sex workers own published words and their experiences but of course who is listening to them

That is what this law does, its made it really terrible for the Independent escorts where its been enforced, traffickers, pimps, police all on their case now, we got pimps and traffickers trying to blackmail and threaten Independent escorts but now also you got a completely different type of client as well, a client who does not care about anyone and has violent tendencies many drug or alcohol dependent too. The good genuine clients who are clean living, with good job and family no longer want to risk being caught in the countries where the Nordic Model is being enforced and who can blame them but you got to feel for the decent Independent escorts who this has affected so much but then that was their goal as well all along when this NM was first introduced.

Ruhuma and these groups are just hypocrites, theyre agenda is to further their own needs only but they are winning here
