Facts:
90% of racehorses in training have stomach ulcers due to improper diet and stress.

Stereotypies such as weaving, box walking, crib biting and wind sucking are very common and prevented by anti weave grids and metal tops on stable doors. These are signs of stress and if occurred in a zoo, it would be shut down.

Pin firing ( sticking red hot solder irons into the tendons to speed up repair) of tendons still goes on in Ireland despite being banned in UK for been cruel and ineffective.

But the dairy industry, pig and poultry industries are also animal welfare unfriendly to meet the consumer demands for cheap food.
