Not everyone sees those links, not everyone thinks about it much.

Now an icon of millions if not billions of us is dead and it's as a result of the medications he was on... I don't think anyone seriously disputes that.

If it was a freakish electrical fault that killed him people would be eaten alive over it, it would be called murder or manslaughter. If it was car brakes that didn't work correctly or poisonous food questions and allegations would be everywhere. So sure as someone permanently damaged by them myself, surely I'm entitled to be angry at his drug-induced death and give out and warn people about these things. And surely I'm entitled to want answers and the perpetrators brought to justice. I don't understand why the doctors are supposed to be so special and I'm certainly not alone in my hatred of them even on this board.

It'll be interesting to hear what comes up at the coroner's news conference in about 45 minutes.

This is a really random place to talk about this, but meds save lives.

I had to shake my head when I read nice girls messge. I remember him posting something like
this before on anti depressants.

Anti d's save lives. The latest anti d's are great. They are called SNRI's and they help pain as well as anxiety and depression (some people take them simply for nerve pain)

The idea that someone can post shit about meds that save lives is careless on the owners part here.

It looks to me that nice girls you had a problem with one anti d or maybe more. Its not always the first one. Westidex is right though, they dont stay in your system. I wouldnt even say a year. Your problem is psychological now. I would make an appt with your doc and ask to be referred to the best psych in Dublin

I have attended st pats in the past and am not ashmaed to admit it. Meds saved my life and gave me back quality in my life. it takes time and trials, but one can do it.

Lets remember tens of millions on anti d's. lets remember tens of millions on pain meds. Follow a dr's advice or a specialists advice and be brave enough to face the prob I say

I wouldnt have them in my way but from what i ahve seen (and i havent seen it all) is that they cause as many probs as they cure.The have side effects ranging from bloat and weight gain to laziness and inability to focus.

I much prefer to be strong,fit and miserable than fat and happy.It really depends on the individual and side effects.

Understanding being off form is just part and parcel of being a human being would go along way in preventing having to resort to them.

How long ago would Mr. Jackson have been dead if he had not taken some of these meds.

Think about how odd he has always been (and I know there were childhood and fame issues), but think about all the stress and worry and madness and the fact that he broke his back and the lifestyle he led.

He would almost definitely be alive today. What "lifestyle" he had? You mean being a strict vegetarian and always avoiding junk foods...? He wasn't the kind that would be on weed and alcohol and fast foods all the time...

He needed meds and its all too easy for the family and "friends" to come out now and say the meds were the prob. They should have done something long ago if this is how they felt.

Mr. Jackson in many ways died the way he lived, alone and that's sad.

Meds are not the issue here. Family is.

Bullshit, it's meds all the way. That's what they actually even admit to this time. 50 year old men who eat very healthily and are in good physical shape do not just drop dead without prescription medicine!!!

Outside of this, I want to say Luther made a good point earlier when he said many people are alive today that would not be were it not for meds. True as gospel. Well said Luther.

If they were living as they evolved to live from the start they would live far longer and better than if they ever went on meds.

Nice, do you mind me asking (given your anonymous here) what meds were you on. Name them. Seriously I 'll do likewise..

Years ago I was given antidepressants and they are the worst type of meds because they affect your brain. But I've been prescribed a number of different medications for various supposed things. If you are on any type of brain medication, I strongly advise you to get off them.
